We begin by milling the lumber on site with a band-style sawmill, then carefully kiln drying it to reduce moisture and improve stability. After drying, the boards are glued together, planed, and sanded smooth. Each tabletop is then finished in your selected color and sealed with lacquer to protect the wood and create a durable, silky-smooth surface.
These 1-1/2-inch thick wood tabletops are available in multiple sizes and three finish options. Since every top is made from solid wood, each one will vary naturally in grain and knot placement. If you are ordering more than one, we can match pieces as closely as possible for a coordinated set.
