Cedar stump side table, plant stand, and rustic wood stool handcrafted from locally sourced Montana cedar. Our Cedar Grove Stump is a versatile solid wood accent table that brings natural texture, warmth, and authentic rustic style to your home. Finished with a clear natural lacquer, each piece highlights the beautiful cedar grain, warm wood tones, knots, and organic markings that make every stump one of a kind.
This rustic cedar side table works beautifully as a plant stand, small end table, wood stool, cabin decor accent, or natural wood pedestal. Whether you are decorating a cabin, lodge, farmhouse, mountain home, or rustic living space, this cedar stump adds a simple, grounded look that feels both functional and timeless.
The bark is carefully peeled away, but hints of the cambium layer are intentionally left behind to preserve the stump’s natural character. These subtle textures and color variations give each cedar wood side table its own distinct appearance. No two are exactly alike.
Every solid cedar stump table is professionally sanded smooth and sealed with clear natural lacquer for a smooth touch and lasting protection. The finish enhances the cedar’s natural beauty while helping protect it for everyday use as a rustic end table, cedar plant stand, or stool.
Because this is made from real solid wood, natural checking may already be visible or may develop over time. Checking is a normal part of the wood-drying process and does not affect the structural integrity of the piece. These natural cracks are part of what gives a rustic cedar stump its authentic charm and one-of-a-kind appeal.
Due to the natural variations in color from tree to tree, as well as our current log inventory, stumps under 14" in diameter will generally have a lighter wood tone, while stumps 14" in diameter and larger will have a darker appearance. Please keep in mind that each stump is unique, and some variation in color is to be expected.
