Because this is made from real solid wood, natural checking may already be visible or may develop over time. Checking is a normal part of the wood-drying process and does not affect the structural integrity of the piece. Due to the natural variations in color from tree to tree, as well as our current log inventory, stumps under 14" in diameter will generally have a lighter wood tone, while stumps 14" in diameter and larger will have a darker appearance. Please keep in mind that each stump is unique, and some variation in color is to be expected.

**Attn: A NOTE ABOUT SIZING - The width on the stumps vary as each tree is different on how quickly it narrows down. So, the stumps in the 10" category are 10" to 11 1/2", the 12" category range from 11 1/2" to 12 3/4", the 14" category ranges from 13 "-15", the 16" category range from 15 - 17” and the 18" category are from 17"-18" in size.
